The historic building, disabled dating from 1927, has recently undergone a refurbishment program, including fixtures in the guest rooms. The Culture and Attraction package includes accommodation and two passes for the Art Institute of Chicago and for the Shedd Aquarium. It also gives a coupon book for the Navy Pier. My verdict: lame. I hate to judge an entire area based on almost no evidence, but to me, it was just like SF’s, but with worse food and more expensive, which removes any reason to go to Chinatown.
